An excerpt from Prayer 101: Learning to Talk with God, an eBook by Don M. Aycock, "Honesty in Prayer" looks "at the matter of honesty toward God in prayer." Taking the prophet Jeremiah as an example, Don Aycock reveals many truths about prayer, chief of which is that prayer is radical honesty. God wants to hear everything, even what we think would make Him angry. Our victories and failures, our virtues and vices, and our hopes and doubts - God wants to hear them all. "Honesty in Prayer" is chapter 6 in Prayer 101: Learning to Talk with God.
